read today that perhaps this is a final season for andy pettitte. in case you don't know, i ADORE him. i love him on and off the field. yes, i was sad when he left the yankees, but still, he has had a great time with the astros as well. i understand that he has pitched in almost every single post-season since he started, and that kind of stress and activity has to take its toll on your body, esp. when you put your heart into it like he does. and like i said, he's done very well in houston, racking up some of the best stats of his career. so, this goes out to you andy, please don't leave us just yet. and if the real reason you're putting out these ideas is cuz you're tired of all that monotonous sunshine and urban sprawl, come back to new york. we've got it all - overcrowding, bad weather, and of course, the best damn fans in the world!
